Updated 19 October 2026Hourra records working hours for teams and for people who work alone. This page says what we keep, why, where, and what you can ask for.
Who runs Hourra
Hourra is made by Kompilo (kompilo.dev). For anything about your data, write to hello@kompilo.dev.
Who decides about the data
For a company account, the company decides why its workers' hours are recorded (it is the controller). Hourra stores and processes them for the company (we are the processor). Companies can ask us for a data-processing agreement at hello@kompilo.dev.
For a solo account, you decide about your own data.
What we keep
Owners and solo workers: name, e-mail address, business details you type (name, address, tax ID, IBAN for pro-formas).
Workers: name, job, hourly rate and (if the owner adds it) a phone number. Workers sign in with a link and a PIN, without an e-mail address.
Every press of a button: what it was (start, break, end), the time on the phone, the time it reached us and the site chosen.
Location: only at the moment of clock-in and clock-out, and only if the phone allows it. Hourra never tracks where people are between those moments.
Leave requests, corrections and pro-formas you create.
How long
Hours are kept for as long as the account exists, so that the history is complete (labour rules often require it). Corrections never overwrite: the original time stays stored next to the correction.
The owner can download everything at any time and can delete the whole account in Settings. Deleting removes every hour, person, site and pro-forma.
Where it lives and who helps
Supabase (database and sign-in), servers in the EU (Ireland). Each account can only read its own rows; workers only see their own hours.
Vercel runs the app. Resend sends our few e-mails (sign-up confirmation, reminders).
No ads, no selling of data, no tracking cookies. The phone keeps unsent hours in its own storage until they are delivered.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, download or delete your data. Workers can ask their employer, or write to hello@kompilo.dev and we will pass it on. You can also complain to your data-protection authority.
